Old school vinyl meets new age audio streaming. That’s what you get when Sonos teams up with the luxury hi-fi manufacturer Wrensilva. The end result is something that’s a marriage of hi-end furniture and hi-fi audio.

The handcrafted Wrensilva record console measures 59.5 inches wide x 30 inches high x 19 inches deep and is composed of American Walnut hardwood and white lacquered birch. Audio for the console is generated by two Sonos 5 speakers nestled inside of acoustically dampened speaker compartments.

The turntable mounted on top of the console features an Ortofon OM 5E cartridge with a fully decoupled belt-driven deck and split-plinth. In addition to playing vinyl and streaming audio via the Sonos app, the record console also has RCA and 3.5 AUX connections. Toggling between inputs is controlled by an analog knob. The volume knob on the console is also capable of syncing with the Sonos app allowing you control the volume through the app.

Wrensilva and Sonos have managed to combine old & new with this new console and this blending does come with a somewhat hefty price. The Wrensilva Sonos Edition Record Console carries a $5,000 price tag, but for those of you with the cash on hand, it could be worth the high price of admission. For additional information on how to order the console check out Wrensilva’s website.
