If you’re lucky enough to have a 4K TV, then you know that 4K content has been rather limited to say the least. According to Digital Trends, owners of Sony’s Ultra HD TVs will have something to look forward to later this month thanks to an agreement Sony’s reached with NanoTech Entertainment.

NanoTech’s Video OnDemand service will come bundled with Sony’s 2014 4K TVs. NanoTech claims to have over 300 hours of 4K OnDemand video content including travel and nature documentaries, 40 made for IMAX theatrical titles, comedy, drama, family movies as well as extreme sports videos, concerts, TV shows and moving murals in addition to 100 hours of free content.

However, it you look closely at the titles of the available movies you won’t find any blockbusters.

Some of the Available Movies Include:
Freeway, Getting Gotti, Basil, Grizzly, Oblivion, The Complex, Manterra, SOLO, Return of Superfly, Shotgun Stories, Sweet Bird of Youth

Because of the limited amount of 4K content available even this lackluster list of movies is a welcomed site. Sony’s current slate of 4K TVs, which range in sizes from 49 inches to 85 inches, are in line to receive the app. Although the content may not be compelling, it will at least give early adopters something to impress their friends with.
