Panasonic TC-L65WT600

Panasonic has been unusually quite on the 4K Ultra HD front. While other manufacturers have been releasing a steady deluge of 4K goodness Panasonic has been notably absent, until now. Panasonic’s new flag ship model, the 65 inch TC-L65WT600, will boast several promising features.

The Panasonic TC-L65WT600 Ultra HD TV, will be one of the first TVs to offer a DisplayPort connection and will also be HDMI 2.0 compatible. The DisplayPort will be able to handle 4K content at 60 frames per second from computers and other devices. The HDMI 2.0 port will also be able to handle video content at 60 frames per second making it excellent for viewing sporting events.

The TC-L65WT600 will also include a H.264 MPEG-4 decoder which will enable the playback of 4K content from the internet, memory cards and USB drives. If that’s not enough it will also include a 4K web browser. Like most smart TVs on the market it will also include a bevy of apps and TV service and will also upscale 1080p content up to 4K (Ultra HD)

The Panasonic TC-L65WT600 will be available exclusively in Magnolia stores during the month of October at the price of about $6,000 and will see a wider release just in time for the holiday season.
